I remember the song "Dream The Impossbile Dream" when I was growing up. It was inspiring and motivating even as a child. Little did I know that one day God would put dreams in my heart that would feel impossible.
How many of you have thought of dreaming the impossible? When my daughter got married in Uganda she was at the "introduction" meeting with all her new Ugandan relatives when a song came on the radio saying, "God will make a way when there seems to be no way."
Here she was in a foreign land marrying an African man she met the year before. When looking at all the obstacles they had to face, they both wondered if there was any way to survive and thrive in this third world country. Yet here was God making a way where there seemed to be no way. They even have gone on to make dreams come true for street children in that part of the world.
How many Bible characters wondered if they could make it, yet God said, "Dream the impossible dream. I will make a way."
That is our word from the Lord today. Dream the Impossible dream. He will make a way where there seems to be no way!

Pastor Sharon,
Matt loved that song, "God will make a way." When it first came out, he played it over and over and over again!
How it rings true in all that we put our hand to in service to the King! Psalms 1 is a favorite of mine, "How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his deilight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. And he will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither...and whatever he does, he prospers!"
As we are led by Him, keeping our hand to the plow, surrounding ourselves with wisdom, He allows our root system to grow deeper and deeper... and whatever we do, prospers...no matter how impossible we thought it might be!
Sorry that we missed you on Saturday - we look forward to getting the CD's! Thanks for a blessed time at the conference and luncheon. We're blessed to have been there. Love, Pastor Deb Mallek (& Wisconsin crew!)
I am thrilled to be the first to leave a comment today. Thank you for your words of encouragement. I have been dreaming impossible dreams, and they are coming true, one by one. I am believing for restored health and improved family relationships. And God knows the desires of my heart. Be blessed today. <3 U, jw
I have been dreaming ever since I arrived home from the WIMN conference. I was refreshed and the vision for ministry was rekindled in both Randy's and my hearts as I shared with him all the notes I took. I ordered the CD's and can't wait to get them! I thank the Lord for WIMN and the privilege of licensure through this organization. I came home with a heart to serve my "WIDOW's" ministry with new zeal.
